On Friday 16 May – a new 26 metre mural commissioned by Tully Sugar 100 partners; Tully Sugar Limited, Canegrowers Tully and Tully Cane Productivity Services was officially unveiled in front of an admiring crowd of local mural followers.

The artwork by Lavinia Letheby (Art by Lavinia) is displayed on the mill-owned Banyan Plaza shopping centre by the entrance to Tully IGA.

"The mural celebrates the rich history and ongoing evolution of the sugarcane industry in Tully and symbolizes the future of Tully, our youth and rain," Lavinia (pictured left) wrote in social media posts. ​​
